The UNKSI is intended for use as technological equipment when performing repairs of production wells and provides control over the current resistance parameters of the submersible cable and the electric submersible pump (ESP) during the descent of the submersible equipment.
The device provides automatic monitoring and allows to quickly register and notify in a timely manner when the connection of the Y-winding is broken or when the insulation resistance of the cable to ESP decreases.
If resistance drops below the threshold value that is set in advance, the UNKSI produces an audible alarm at the work site.
